We still operate in the rain.

If we cancel, In these circumstances we will get in contact with you directly to rearrange or refunds but please be patient.

Only book if you accept these terms and conditions.

What happens if we have to close due to bad weather? Safety always comes first!

Unfortunately, our British summer weather isn’t always how we would like it to be and we cannot operate in high strong winds or if there is thunder and lightening over head. Sometimes we have to make a close call last minute as the weather can at times be very changeable, localised and unpredictable. Safety always comes first. If there is a sudden change in weather, we may need to close or pause sliding without notice.

However, we are always keeping a good eye on the weather and usually we know in advance if we need to close, we advise checking on our Facebook and your emails before leaving. It maybe ok in your area but very different to our site.

If we have to cancel, you will receive an email first and then the admin team will call the lead booker to rearrange your booking or organise a refund. If you havent heard from us then please still travel to site for your session.

Ps weather reports change very quickly so we will make the decision early morning.

We still operate when it raining- you are going to get wet anyway.

Disclaimers and safety rules

When you book online for public sessions you will be asked to fill out an online waiver after making the booking, if your booking has multiple sliders please log into our booking site (Eola) and invite family and friends to sign their own waivers or their childrens waivers before arriving on site. If you struggle to complete the forms please dont panic, they can be done on the day but it is easier and quicker at reception if they are completed in advance.

We ask you to watch and get the others in your party to watch our online safety video before you arrive on site. This can be viewed on our website, Facebook page or on our YouTube channel.

If you turn up on the day without a booking and we have availability a disclaimer will be required for every slider to be signed before you slide and you will be required to watch the safety video.

Wristbands will not be issued to your group unless a disclaimer is signed for each participant.

EVERYONE SLIDING MUST WATCH THE SAFETY VIDEO ON OUR WEBSITE OR ON OUR IPAD AT THE DESK BEFORE THEIR SESSION. IT IS THE GROUP LEADERS RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE IN THEIR PARTY HAS DONE SO BEFORE THEY SLIDE.

It is the parent’s responsibility to make sure their children understand and abide by the rules.

Please supervise your children at all times.

Whilst sliding together is fun, its does impose an increased risk of injury. If you sustain any injury this must be reported to us on the day whilst you are onsite so we can create an accident report.

Trained first aiders are on site at all times.

Anyone not obeying the rules, not listening to staff or being rude to staff members will be asked to leave the slide and site immediately without a refund. We have the right to refuse admission to the slide or site at anytime.

Age limit?

Riders must be at least 5 years old to ride alone, able to climb over the safety barriers, able to swim and confident in water. Please supervise your children at all times.

Children 4 years and Under can ride for free with a fee-paying parents or guardian over 18 years old. All minors must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. The enjoyment levels of young children will vary between child to child hence why we dont charge for children 4 and Unders.

Can everyone make it to the bottom splash pool?

Part of the fun of the slide is making it to the pool but it does take some practise and a little technique. BUT IT CAN BE DONE!! Please note we are a popup business, operating in a field, we are not a waterpark.

Younger children may struggle to slide the whole length due to size and weight. However, they can slide on the inflatable tubes with parents, guardians, siblings and friends to help, we love seeing groups of people enjoying the challenge together. Staff are always happy to give tips and advice to help you.

Can I slide if I have a medical issue or pregnant?

We strongly advise not to participate if you are pregnant or have pre-existing injuries ie, back, neck, knee etc.. It is the sliders responsibility to seek advanced medical advice in regard to pre-existing medical issues.  A waiver will be required to be signed for all sliders prior to sliding.

We are happy for you to bring your own Body boards and inflatables but please check with the staff first before using as some types don’t work.

We are happy for you to double up on the inflatable rings but single riders only on body boards. If you reach the splash pool at the very bottom, please roll off the equipment as you enter the pool area to reduce speed.

Changing area / Toilets

We have Porta loo style toilets on site and basic changing room facilities. Please come slide ready or change by your cars. Please store and leave your belongings in your cars or with family or friends.  We can look after car keys in reception. We are not liable for any loss of property.

How is our water cleaned and is it treated??

We have an water sanitising system in place and the water is treated with chlorine. We follow the Swim England’s guidance regarding chlorination levels which enabled us to operate in a safe manner. As we are located in a field sometimes the pool can look murky/muddy due to mud and grass entering the splash pool zone, don’t worry the chlorine level are monitored regularly and will still be protecting all our customers. As the water is chlorinated we do advice all participants to shower once home. Due to Chlorination there is always a chance of colour leaching / staining from our equipment or dulling of your clothes / wetsuit, unfortunately we have to chlorinate our water to keep you safe, we recommend washing all clothes worn once you return home.

MUD- GLORIOUS - MUD

Due to the extreme amount of rain Cornwall has had and lack of Sunshine this summer 2023- our site is muddy due to the rain. Unfortunately that is making the water look muddy in colour. The water is still Chlorinated and running through a cleaning system but until we get a long period of sunshine, the site will not completely dry out! So mud on people’s feet is going into the slide which is coming up under the artificial grass everyone is walking on.

We recommend showering when home!

Please note we have a hard standing car park so parking and getting on & off site isn’t a problem.

Equipment sanitisation

Equipment should be returned to the equipment bay once finished. The slide amd equipment is cleaned on a regular basis.
